Punjab Kings hold the record. PBKS pulled off the highest successful run chase in IPL and T20 history when they chased down 265 against Delhi Capitals at the Arun Jaitley Stadium in Delhi on April 25, 2026, winning by six wickets with seven balls remaining. 

In doing so, they broke their own 2024 record of 262 against KKR — making PBKS the only team to hold this record twice in the modern IPL record book.

How Punjab Kings Chased 265 Against Delhi Capitals in IPL 2026

This match, played on April 25, 2026, at the Arun Jaitley Stadium in Delhi, may go down as one of the greatest T20 games ever played.

Delhi Capitals posted 264/2 in their 20 overs. KL Rahul was the architect with an unbeaten 152, becoming the first Indian to score 150 in an IPL innings. SRH 247/2 vs Punjab Kings – IPL 2025

In the 27th match of IPL 2025 at Hyderabad, Sunrisers Hyderabad chased down a target of 246 with 8 wickets and 9 balls remaining. Royal Challengers Bengaluru pulled off their highest ever IPL chase in the final group-stage match of IPL 2025, reaching 230/4 in 18.4 overs to beat LSG by 6 wickets.  Rishabh Pant had led LSG to 227/3 with an unbeaten 118 off 61 balls. Delhi Capitals 226/3 vs Rajasthan Royals – IPL 2026

Delhi Capitals produced their highest successful chase in IPL history when they scored 226/3 against Rajasthan Royals at Jaipur in IPL 2026. RR had posted 225/6, but DC chased it down by seven wickets. KL Rahul made 75, Pathum Nissanka scored 62, and DC completed a record chase for the franchise.
