Only the 2022 champions, Gujarat Titans, made a mark by winning the title in its debut season and falling just short of repeating the feat in 2023. But their performance in 2024 deteriorated and they ended up in a hapless eighth place. All that being said, after losing their way last season they kept most of their core players but brought in some big names.
However, it’s a period of transition for the Punjab Kings who have always struggled in IPL.
