India’s crushing defeat in the second Test at Adelaide against Australia has sparked serious debate and analysis. Legendary cricketer Sunil Gavaskar has weighed in with some strong advice for the team, urging them to shake off the disappointment and maximize their remaining time in Australia.
The much-anticipated Border-Gavaskar Trophy is in full swing, and the second Test at the Adelaide Oval has thrown the series wide open. After India’s convincing victory in Brisbane, Australia bounced back spectacularly in Adelaide, thrashing the visitors by 10 wickets.
The India cricket team is touring Australia from November 2024 to January 2025 to play five Test matches against the Australia cricket team. The Test matches will form part of the 2023–2025 ICC World Test Championship. It will be the first Test series between India and Australia comprising five matches since 1992. India had retained the Border–Gavaskar Trophy after defeating Australia 2–1 in the previous series in 2023.
